MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL PRICING
Effective June 1, 2015, to be eligible for renewal pricing, memberships must be renewed within one year of expiring. After this time, former members must register under a new WIFT Alberta account and pay full membership fees. If you are unsure of your membership status or expiration date, please contact membership@wiftalberta.ca.
MEMBERSHIP REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS
WIFT Alberta’s membership fees are non-refundable. WIFT Alberta memberships automatically expire at the end of your term if you do not renew; however, if you wish to cancel your membership with WIFT Alberta, please contact membership@wiftalberta.ca.
EVENT REFUND POLICY
For panels, seminar events and the WIFTA Showcase, if you cancel within five business days before the event, no refund will be offered. For all other cancellations (more than five business days before the event), a refund minus a $5.00 administration fee per cancellation will be issued. WIFTA reserves the right to reschedule an event and/or to substitute speakers when necessary. Should an event be cancelled, WIFTA will issue a full refund.
For intensives, if you cancel within ten business days before the session or program start date, no refund will be offered. For all other cancellations (more than ten business days before the program), a refund minus a $50.00 administration fee per cancellation will be issued. WIFTA reserves the right to reschedule a session and/or to substitute speakers when necessary. Should the program be cancelled, WIFTA will issue a full refund.
DIVERSITY POLICY
WIFTA is committed to diversity and inclusiveness in all its work. We work proactively to be fair and equitable in practice and to build diversity into our programs and services and within our membership. Our programs are open to members and non-members and to women, men and transgendered individuals without distinction based on gender identity. However, some of our mentorships, scholarships and bursaries are limited to female or transgendered applicants only.
